Very cool find Steve ! I've never seen this bandai release before but it's not surprising they did it . Interesting that they even included original decals !

My wife bought me this today, very Meccano like! See in completed non show rods 05.09.24. I had forgotten about metal construction kits until I saw this! I remember building lots of them as a kid now that I see yours... of course they were USA made back then in the 60's!

And made in the UK by Mecanno. Here from ebay UK.. Update 12.09.24 arrived today, very small for 1/25 scale. In the tub at present being cleaned of chrome, those parts will be black!

In bound as we speak a 1/35 scale kit, if that's what it's called! I saw it on Suyata's site and was taken by how different it looked!

Definitely different! Looks like someone took the Tamiya box and photoshopped their info and pic over it? Will be interesting to see if you actually get it...

I havent been building in a while , but this has been sort of a grail for me since I made an absolute mess of the reissue of this kit ( 27 T ) as a kid . I saw this original on Ebay, and was soon sent an offer I couldn't refuse ! Looking at the instructions, the kit looked to be missing one small exhaust coupler, but looking online at other Cinderbugs contents , it seems to not exist anyway.

I remember watching for one of these for a long time but finally gave up , now you've renewed my interest !

Good score on the Cinder Bug, Don. I've been waiting to find one at a reasonable price that's not a glue bomb. My wait at least got me that Fire Bug I restored.
On a different show rod topic, this kit showed up on my doorstep on Monday:
Complete, with only the body brush painted. I don't see one in the Gallery, so I hope to eventually do it qualification justice.
