Sorry clowns... but the signature pictures just kept getting bigger and bigger and as Brandon pointed out, loading images starts taking a toll on bandwidth and performance. So here's the deal. Keep the pics to a maximum of 400 600 x 100 for your signature images. This one is that size: Not to any surprise to me, a few of those that had ultra oversized sig pics have already removed or changed them. Neither Brandon, Dave or I have the time to baby-sit this, so be aware if we see obvious violations, we will remove them from YOUR profile. And repeat offenders will.. well.. you know. We're not trying to be gustapos or pricks, but we don't want the message board to become more important than the messages themselves. Dave himself is partial to a nice clean workspace. Thats why the background is plain white, like a clean piece of paper. It matters whats ON the paper. Not the paper itself. I like to think the Coffin Corner is the benchmark for model message boards so let's say we all have till Saturday 1/8/2011 to get our signature pics in line. If anyone needs help resizing their pics, shoot me an email or pm and I'll help out. while you're here.. push a button

Well bug, I made several attempts, trial, and error. mine was still too big, but equal to others so I figured it would work. Noting I had in 4 computers would reduce pictures by pixels, so I searched the web. I found this free download from Microsoft, Image Resizer. work out great for me! www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

I've been on other sites where the pics in signatures almost take up a full page. And that was from a single poster, I mean this fool had two dozen adverts, if not three, in his sig. Stupid and selfish!. No pics in sigs always works best.
