The Fire Iron, and Firecracker are the same kit, with the exception of the wheels & tires, and front axle. The dog Catcher has the big steam roller tires on the rear with a Halibrand style wheel. The wheels on the Firecracker are a 10 spoke design.
All these kits can be seen here....www.showrods.com/home_page_links/alpha_list.html

I was just going to post this exact question, but a search brought up the answer.
I wonder why the change? I’ve got a Fire Iron here and I really wanted a Fire Cracker for the cool wife wheels 😂.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually like the Fire Iron wheels better on this kit. Go figure.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually like the Fire Iron wheels better on this kit. Go figure. I really like those 5 spokes on the front, the rears are kinda “meh” to me...maybe a mix between the two would be cool! The skinnies on the front and the fatties on the back!
