Built something that qualifies as a showrod! Well, anyway, it's on the list. Actually, I finished it in the fall, but cameras are quirky... I put together the Beverly Hillbillies rod as if Jed had stopped Jethro before he went too far (never quite got into that over-the-top ride). More like the original had just got spruced up a bit. Building it this way still left it open for a lot of weathering and drybrushing. The body was painted in primer, then hand-rubbed (literally) to bring out the edges before I sealed it under satin clear. I think it might actually pass a vehicle inspection now ... well, not if Granny is sitting on the bench!

the majority of the Guest Gallery entries have been personalized, or interpreted , or out right bash ed the way the builder wanted. I would love to add this to the gallery but there is a process www.showrods.com/home_page_links/gallery_submit_rules.htmlnice build no matter wh ether you submit pics or not
