Alright, fresh cut and standin' sturdy. A little teaser... the C'naardvark Far from finished, but I thought I'd hurry up and wait. The body is all sheet styrene, and those rear wheels are from a Snapper Vette. I might have to back off and use something less rare ;D

[glow=red,2,300]AMAZING DAVE!!![/glow] Nice Body Work.... Thanks. Before I put Digger down for the night, I added some teeth and broke out the hot knife and made the final transformation. A little shaping and sanding and you would never guess it was the same head. I'm not sure I like the pointed teeth or not, don't be surprised to see them ground out and replaced.

I'm not a big fan of these but I think I'll toss my hat in the ring anyway. VEGABOND Deals Wheels I had a 1974 Vega gluebomb so I decided to hack it up. After all, Ira makes it look so easy. Well it's not as easy as he makes it look. All suggestions welcome as I'm not sure if I got this right. I don't have any of those DW tires so I will have to make some or something close enough. Here is what I have so far:

Here is what I have so far: [glow=red,2,300]That Worked Good!!![/glow] Nice Shape Dave, it almost looks like a Deals Wheels Porsche.... [glow=red,2,300]EBAY!!![/glow] Watch Ebay for old Deals Wheels that have been built, glue bombs. I have found a few that had the Good DW Tires for under $10 shipped. One only needed cleaning, all the glue had dried out & the parts came apart easily... I'll be watching this one!

So I really couldn't wait... The C'naardvark has most of it's parts test fitted (not all of them are pictured), and the roof/interior bed have been settled in. Seats are from the Hillbillies Rod, scoop and wheels from a Snap-Draggin (with interior enclosures), butchered General Lee engine. I think I'm ready for some paint! ;D Just haven't decided what colors, yet. Well, the tires will be black

Doubtful. I have to go back to work Besides, I'll get it 99% done and futz the first round paint finish, thereby necessitating purple pond time.

[glow=red,2,300]FILLING The HOLES!!![/glow] I try to use plastic instead of putty whenever I can. I filled in the tops of the rear fenders with strips of plastic.

Thanks Ira, Do you think the front posts need to be cut down? Hey Dave, I think it looks good now, but you can always chop a top! I would check the Head Clearence for your driver and make the top a little bit higher that his head....

Progress on the RANCHERO!!!! [glow=red,2,300]SPREADIN' SOME MUD...[/glow] After the excess plastic was removed I spread Squadron Putty along all the seams. This makes the body very strong and it looks much better after its sanded. Don't use too much it will melt plastic!
