That from one of the Gangbusters kits? Thats what I remember the source of this looking like. Like yours, mine is sealed so I never looked this one over, cool to see it get built up. Really nice detail job on this Good night to stay in and do some model building, that cold is sweeping through here tomorrow Stay warm! Thanks for the kind words buddy .. I see in the photos the fan blade was a little out off kilter . that has since been corrected and paint touch-up on the engine is completed .. Well I've never built the Gangbusters kit so I'm not sure if it's original origin of this flatty or not . I know this engine is a bear to build and has 25+ parts... pretty crazy looking setup .. lol... We're setting at -8 degrees right now at 7PM .. she's going to be a chilly start tomorrow .. Can't wait to get home tomorrow evening and start prepping the body parts for primer / paint ..

If I remember correctly the engine and running gear is identical on the Gangbusters and Good Guys versions of the kit, a swine to build either way!

This is not got the faint if heart... Hale (showrodnut) had given me a headsup on how difficult this kit was to assemble and he wasn't kidding !!

Great Combo, Brandon! From which kit come this engine and especially the huge funnels? Thanks for the compliments, guys. It's a fun one. The engine is a mix of parts. It's a 1/24th scale Monogram Chevy big block from somewhere... and I'm pretty sure the tall stacks came from the Revell T Roadster with the little trailer. Mine was the Goodguys Rod & Custom version.

Only one engine? WHO IS THIS!?!?! I know, I must be slipping... LOL.. Especially given how much available space there is back there. You sure you don't have an extra engine sitting around you could stuff back there, just for old times sake?
