I'm looking for the little Kat, or Kool Kat figure that would have been an extra in some of the old AMT kits. There were several small animals... alegator, dog, elephant, etc, I'm trying to find the Kat, or at least the knowledge of which kit it could be found in. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks! Bill

If you go to the upper right of the General Show Rod Board page (search) and type in "The AMT Kat" in will bring up a page of threads, scroll down toward the bottom and there is a post "The AMT Kat" by Ellis Kendrick on 5-29-08 that has some interesting links & stuff about the old Kat.

I seen some where that AMT might bring out that cat as a model kit sometime next year.

It's all good Brother... there is no real rush except anticipation. Someone is going to know what kit he came in, and then.... The THRILL OF THE HUNT!!! As the vintage kit man you are, you know the joy of the quest. And we stumble across other little treasures along the way! Thanks All!

I have the small AMT Kat Figure somewhere. I'll have to dig and let you guys know. I won;t let my original go, but I'll try to pop some some resin duplicates. Stay tuned! (Yes... I'm still alive. Just got out of the habit of being and active Klown! Sorry 'bout dat! Ellis
Yes, I also sculpted a 6" AMT Kat on a base. I told John G. at Round 2 about it and he told me I couldn't sell any because of the copyrights Round 2 has on the image. Crap! It's pretty kool, too!
