So i finally.got a mad max.interceptor. I had to got one from Japan, apparently they can still buy them but it cost me a few bucks. So I have a few questions I could use some input on. The only incarnation of this kit is from the second movie, road warrior, and if you a fan you know the car butchered up a bit mostly with the removal of the rear hatch / trunk area and the addition of the extra fuel tanks. I want to go back to the original look. There are no kits in the correct scale to rob parts, I'm thinking maybe son early 70s mustang or torino parts might work. I also want to open the hood and put a real engine in it. These import kits have such nice detail but no engine! So I wonder.... Before I tear into this very expensive body, would it make sense to have one of the resin gurus here make a body or two, and would it be easier to make these mods in resin or maybe in the mold themselves? And cutting the hood might not be too easy. So any input would be helpful. Thanks guys
Keep calm and build on!!
