OK, all the names have been sent guys! Check your inboxes! Some of you will have received a single name, some a bunch, depending on what your fellow Klown came up with. You don't have to build ALL the names if you got more than one, choose your favourite. Of course, if you want to build more than one, do it! That would be AWESOME!
I hope they all inspire something cool - best of luck guys! Thanks for playing so far - now we get to the REALLY fun bit!! Lets get building!
PS: we want to see lots of build threads! Post up your progress so everyone can check it out...lets get this party started here!

Awesome dude! I had an idea for one of my two builds that needed a particular kit, so I just ordered one on Amazon Prime (I just sold two of these kits on eBay because I thought "I'll never use that" - go figure ), and I'm just sketching out ideas for my other one. SO stoked about my names! Too cool!

I have three iterations of pretty much the same name from which to choose, and two or three different base kits that will likely fit the bill. I'm leaning toward using an AMT Tee-Vee that I had already started playing around with, since I really didn't have any definite plans for it, and it fits the name that I received - or at least it can with some kitbashing.

Here's mine. This kit was originally released mid 1966. And although it looks like a 1967 Mustang, It's actually a concept from Ford that was so well received it almost turned into the '67 Mustang (save for the chopped top, relocated gas caps etc. This kit has a pretty typical chassis for 1966 where the axle went through the engine block and the rear end is molded in, so that's sure to change.
This was first time we learned of the now famous nameplate "Mach 1" So my name game entry:
MONDO MACH

Thaat's where those wheels came from... I have a set from an old parts stash I was gifted.. Wonder if they came in anything else? Very cool kit. The body is low-slung with the wheel openings and chopped top... I like it.

Ohhhhh, cool Mustang Paul! This is gonna be great to watch! Are you replicating the box art, or doing your own thing?

I know the Trumpeter Falcon is kind of a mixed bag, but being that the Falcon/Mustang shared so many chassis components, I can't help but wonder what kind of a chassis donor it would make.

I hadn't thought of that! I've never heard anything, good or bad, about the Trumpeter Falcon. Most modelers are inherently 'cheap' ,myself included. So buying one to part it out is scary, but, I'll add that to the list of possibilities. THANKS!

One of my name game rods will be based on the Depth Charger. But with front engine.. And a leisure appliance on the back, in stead of the Corvair engine. And a lot of other changes and modifications... The other will be based on... Yeah, on what? I dont know yet. A frame from the parts box, and I guess a scratchbuilt body. The body will have incorporated components from a very small, non-american car... And components that reflect architecture... And food... And a some more stuff... Thats the plan Im working on now, but who knows... One of the great things about modelbuilding - especially show rods - is that things can change a lot along the way.... So I am excited about this, and excited to see what will be parked on my workbench a few days before christmas I'm really excited to see these builds!! Too cool man! Lemme see lemme see

Lemme see lemme see I built one of each, chassis' has a lot of good points and a few minor ehs. Engine is nice if you dump the C4 auto for a more detailed one. Both bodies and interiors are IMO very true to real ones. Paul
