If you have unwanted holes in a model part … there are different ways to close them, I'll show you one here… … for example with plastic sprue and I have a lot of it: Here is a selection I take one that fits easily into the hole, heat it in the middle just just enough to soften it First apply polystyrene glue to the edge of the hole and now it has to be very fast: the heated sprue is put through the hole and the ends are pressed against each other towards the hole Once again: glue on the edge of the hole, heat the sprue push it through the hole and press the ends against each other the holes are closed the rest is cut off on both sides and it looks like this, when it's sanded off The whole thing can also work for bulky holes, here's an example It is best if you take the sprue from the same kit, which you want to revise, because that has the same material mix, color and hardness. As I said, this is my version, a possibility of many, requires caution and a lot of practice! Try it!

GREAT post Bobby! This is a really smart way of doing this, and one I never thought of. It’s like a cross between riveting and welding! I’m gonna try it this way!
