For the tattoo.... what about using a 'drafting' pencil ! (?) it should stick to the oil base ( as long as it is throughly dry), wothout much prob. But try it on some painted scrap first !!! I also know, it comes in differant colors..... Red comes to mind ! Good luck tho !!! And some fantastic werk !!! ~DM~

Lots of good in-scale tattoo designs available at the beauty supply store - rub-on and water-transfer decals for fingernails. Gothic, tribal and traditional tattoo themes, all about the right size for a 1/12 figure.

I was thinking dry transfer also... Man, She's really shapping up nicely! You HAVE to send Pat Brady pictures of this!

Thank you, everyone, for the kind words. I'm not quite sure about her skin tones and may end up repainting. The story of my life: Never paint anything once. I hadn't thought of using a pencil, nor of the dry transfers; I'll see what Archer has available. ...Back again. Archer doesn't seem to have anything suitable, but it seems that Michael's, the craft store, has a bunch of rub-ons that look promising. Hmmmm...

I think I've got the tattoo licked. I found some tiny rubber stamps at Michael's, including a couple roses. I did a test, using oil paint as my "ink", and I think it's going to be possible to "stamp" the tattoo on. Hurray! ;D
