Easy way to get wiring for detailing. If you have an old printer cable laying around with the connectors as seen in the following picture. Cut the ends off. Now slice the insulation off and expose the 20+ colored wires. The colors are brighter than shown in the following picture. Hope this helps & saves ya a buck or two. Update: If you have/can get the GRAY colored insulation cable from Belkin, it has 17 solid colored wires in it. The CREAM colored generic cables have 24 & sometimes 25 wires in them, but you will only get 12 solid colored wires ( the others are stripped).
