Clean build! I like the extra cheater feature you've done to the slicks. Mind if I ask how you pulled it off?

Monogram offered an F-14 jet fighter kit that had wings that would fold in a out and moving one wing would make the other move too. It was a pretty simple set of geared sections that meshed together, folding and unfolding the wings. That be a good start at a mechanism to my the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang wings functional.
Here's a youtube video of the F-14 kit, what you want to see is at 2:30, pause it and study the picture, it shows the parts, and how they fit together on the instructions.

Hey Tye .. they look like they could be easily scratch built brother .. trace the one you have .. cut them out ... arch one "left" and arch one "right" to fit each side of the car ... Agreed, they'd be far easier to make than find.

For anyone still keeping score at home, I scraped some paint off the intake and it's made of light blue plastic, about the color of the tripower on the right... And it has more detail than the black painted one Chuck has shown above. It really does seem to fit nicely, which is why I'm still wondering where it came from. It has a cast in boss for the magneto and the breather, radiator hose, and intake itself all fit together nicely.

Here it is. It looks like an original 60's era build up of the Little T, not great, but not a glue bomb ether. I'm pretty sure the carbs are the Little T, it uses the upper hose, breather tube and magneto. The question is, where'd the seemingly perfectly fitting tri power intake come from, at that time?

Okay, zombie thread time. I just picked up a couple built up "T"'s. A Sweet T and a Little T. The Little T has me scratching my head a little. It only has three carbs, not six. The intake looks to fit correctly, and isn't a modified version of the 6 carb. Was the Little T ever issued with intake options, or the 3 carb intake (Like the Big T has)? My unbuilt only has the 6 carb intake. I'll get pic's when I have some time to get good ones.

Got a partial built Little 'T' semi gluebomb the other day. Sadly, the gluebomb part mostly is, whoever started this 50 years go, used about half a tube gluing the seats in backside down. Yes, the seat backs were/are glued to the floor, so bad you can see glue warp on the interior bucket bottom. So, I'm just looking for the interior tub and twin bucket seats. I'm not sure if the Sweet T still had the original Little T interior, but I'm thinking it did. If not, disregard that part. Thanks!

Sure got a clean roof, and that's the hardest part to find nice. Could that be enough to push it past the century mark alone?

They do look like a pretty good match, but trying to replace one rare kits headers with another rare kits headers seems problematic from the get go.

They just used the decals off the Badman on a pro street 55. They should have put more effort in, ditch the front bumper, tint the windows red and make a set of square Zoomies at least.

Thanks fordrodandcustom, I have that kit and have already checked but it isn't quite the same Thank You also Beatnik, From the photos you posted it looks like the Street Freak engine has the same intake and blower set up---Thanks again!! Looks like the blower and intake are one part, and likely unique to the Swee-tee small block. The blower drive is unique looking too. The Badman '55 blower itself would be pretty similar, but you'd still need the 4 hole scoop from the Olds to complete the look. And the headers will always be a stumbling block.

I'll take your word for it and give it a shot. I just saw a lot of complaints about it when I did a Google search, but they were mostly about how well it cleaned White Wall tires, which most weren't happy about.

Well, it looks like Westly's Bleachwhite no longer exists. Any other stuff out there worth using? Seems no one likes the new Black Magic brand Bleachwhite.

Took a few weeks for it to travel more than halfway around the world, but it's here... I also got a set of Herb Deeks beautiful photoetched spoke wheels for it. Now, all you resinators, any tips for working with this stuff? The parts look pretty good, but there are a few pinholes here and there. Glue? Paint? Wash it first? Anything special at all?

You'll want to finish your clearcoating with a shot of Dullcoat before you start weathering. Testors has both lacquer and enamel clear, you want to be sure and use the Lacquer based gloss clear (Wet look), I'm fairly sure Testors Dullcoat only comes in lacquer. The rule is, "Enamel over Lacquer, never lacquer over enamel". Lacquer will 'attack' enamel. Oil and enamel detail paints will be fine over the Dullcoat lacquer.
