HI guys!! On the STAR WARS MILLENIUM FALCON, the only thing from MPC/ERTL is actually the box!! The instructions say Amt /Ertl 1995 !! Some smartypants must have sold this for an MPC before I got it!! The kit itself looks new to be MPC!! I apologize!! It is still almost complete!! Not bad for a buck!!

Another glue that works pretty good is the green tube (DUCO)!! I have cast an owl that is the size of a pencil eraser!! You can also make junk diorama pieces like hubcaps , twisted valve covers, gas cans, rims!!You ll be surprised at what testors glue and clay can produce!! One more thing , stir the glue around and pop the air bubbles or a hole will result!! A $1.00 clay and $1.00 tube glue!! Experiment with different glues to see which is right for you!! Good luck!!

Have you tried to cast them in clay and testors tube glue?? I squeeze the clay till it is soft so the part that I am casting will leave a good impression! On a bottle it is better to glue a piece of sprue to the bottom so it will be easier to take the part out of the clay!! Or once you insert the bottle in the clay move it around a bit so you can remove it!! Leave the glue to dry for 2-3 days, then remove the glue by lifting a corner with a hobby blade!! There will be some clay on the part ,simply remove it with a small, stiff brush, then color !! I have cast lots of manifolds ,hubcaps, inner door panels ,even a shrunken head!! This technique is only if you can not find that special part!! You need lots of tube glue and practice, practice!!

Hey Skulldude, Sorry about the shop!! I hope you found something by now!! I live in Brownsville ,Texas (as south as you can get in Texas) and there is a Hobby shop down here named B's Hobby Shop!! She has been closed for about 16 years now!! They were an old couple ,the husband worked on his model trains (oiling and running them on the tracks )and the wife tended to the selling of the model cars ,planes ,boats and paints !! It wasnt a big shop but a small one , packed with old kits and new ones!! She sold me some model mags for 25 cents!! Nice lady!! Went back the next week and she had closed !! Heard her husband was ill and she would only open on Saturdays!! The husband died a couple years later and she closed for good!! I went downtown last week to see if I could dig up any info on the shop!! I found out that she doesnt plan on selling and that all the old kits are still there and everything is still like it was 16 years ago when she closed The 20 by 20 ft stores galvanized door!! I wish I had the chance to work at that hobby shop!!! Maybe one day!!!! DREAM A LITTLE DREAM...........
