You should do more box stock. This turned out fantastic. The kit has more detail than I remember. Again, nice work.

Makes me want a 6 or 8oz Coke in a bottle. I like all of the changes. The cooler between the seats is a nice touch. Did you can the chain drive?

I apologize if I'm late to the dance. I just watched episode 1 of Steve Magnante's Super Models on the Motor Trend app. Its a show about models and kits. In episode 1 he builds a replica of Jimmy Addison's 67 GTX (Hemi) Silver Bullet. Jimmy street raced the car on Woodward Ave. in Detroit while being sponsored by Chrysler. Steve's level of building is not up to y'alls standards, but it is nice to see a show highlighting models and kits. He gives a good history of the real car and kit bashes for parts to make an accurate build. I liked it, I hope there will be additional episodes. I also like his Junkyard Gold programs.
Only one episode so far, no showrods yet.

I'm sorry you feel obligated to these folks, but the information is too vague. It's difficult to work with "years ago..." and "this guy and that guy" in something as vast as the Internet. What Don said.

Bob you've done a few of these "never was" builds and they just keep getting better. This Mustang looks fantastic. Not sure I'd have the plastic patience to do this. I'm with you Paul about Mustangs.

I think this is another kit I've only seen in a box and not built. Pat you did a great job. What is the paint color? If I built that kit it would become a wheelstander, blower and headers sticking out of the back.

Wow, 20 years! Time flies. This site has been part of my life for many years. I haven't been as active lately. I plan to contribute more in the future. It's good to see Dave is going back to the hobby. I look forward to seeing the builds.

Im with Rocketeer. The Badman and the 55 Chevy Street Machine. I think the 56 Chevy kit dropped the blower.

Looks like a nice quick build. Did you paint it or clear coat the plastic? Hope the upcoming hospitalization is not serious and goes well.

Really nice job on a rare kit. The added clock parts are a great addition. I have a weakness for mechanical watches and clocks too.

The Bugs Buggy is one of the original show cars that began my love of cars in general. I first saw it as a black and white picture in a hardcover car book in elementary school. I checked the book out from the school library numerous times. Nice work sir, and thank you for the memories.

Nice work Don. I've only seen the box art before. So you have to get three kits to do this, all versions correct? Y'all are going to make me buy a couple.
