Another cool little kit and the subtle colors really work on this one ! Could be the first ever "Cab-forward" beating Chrysler by many decades . I kind of like the look with the top on it !

Very cool paint job Pat , I really like the look of that ! And yes it's Memorial Day weekend here so many of us are taking time off to remember our fallen service men and women . . . also it's the unofficial start of summer vacation for many , school's out or about to be for the summer .

Very cool Steve , love the Torque twin ! Looks much better than as a trike , that body always seemed too bulky to my eye . What green paint is that ?

Just saw a video taken at this year's NNL. The Atlantis rep was asked when it was coming out and he replied "Probably in the next month or two." Hopefully he was speaking literally and not figuratively. The Atlantis website now shows a June 14 release date . They have been late before but it's still good news ! atlantis-models.com/preorder-ed-big-daddy-roth-boss-fink-1-25/

Finally warm enough to get the 67 Buick GS400 out for a righteous ride to the hobby shop. And yes, scored the MPC Squad Rod, and it seems to be complete with decent decals, which are pretty important on this one. That Squad Rod is a great looking model ! Be sure to spray the decals with some clear before you use them , it will keep them from disintegrating in the water ! And by the way . . . your '67 GS is absolutely gorgeous !

Well done Dave , great to have you back into it again ! This is a kit that needs to be reissued , even with the larger scale I'd bet it would be a big seller .

Thanks very much guys ! This one took forever to finish (started it last Thanksgiving) because almost everything I did had to be redone a couple of times . Struggled with poor eyes and hands but I was determined to finish it !

Excellent looking Charger , great job Dave ! Looks perfect in black with red stipes and the stance is perfect , brings back memories of high school . I only use rattle cans and can have several nice paint jobs in a row and then have one with tons of orange peel . . . just the luck of the draw .

Don't think I've ever seen this one before , pretty cool looking little rod ! You're right it does "almost" work , actually it works much better than a lot of other old kits I've seen .

Very cool model , nice save Jim ! I've always liked the look without the bubble top and cyclops headlight , sort of a street legal altered !

The "Milk Truck" was a 60's show car built by Bob Reisner and Eldon released the "Milk Truck" kit in 1969 or 1970 molded in purple . It was later reissued by Doyushu molded in a dark blue plastic . I don't know what happened to the molds after that but doubt they went to MPC . I have one of the Doyushu kits and a couple of the original "Milk Trike" kits but they are both still sealed , I wasn't aware that the bodies are interchangeable . That's news to me !

It's always great to see the 60's Show Rods still making the show circuit , thanks for posting ! Interesting that after all these years Barris still gets credit for cars that weren't his .

NOVEMBER??!! What's the hold up? Great to see this kit re-issued after almost 60 years. So many rumours and stories about it over the decades. I notice in the built up photo that the shift column is missing... It must be a scheduling thing . As for the shifter it must be an oversight , the pics of the mold they posted clearly shows the shifter .

Kinda offbeat for most people but I'm a fan of toon types of models (Deal's Wheels etc . . .) so these are right up my alley ! I thought at first they were a but pricey but looking at the size of these cars it isn't too bad , I may just pop for a couple of them .

These arrived a few days ago . . . would you believe under $16.49 on Ebay ? Yep , I was the 2nd bidder and I guess nobody else wanted them ! Only the second set I've seen in many years of watching , I bought the first set for about $50 thinking I'd never have another chance .

Bob, I wish I had this as my hand-me-down drive back in the 70s. I inherited my mom's not-as-cool '69 4-door Torino sedan (so... just the front half of yours) with a vinyl roof. And definitely not the fastback Torino version, either. Of course, NOW I wish it could have made it to the present day, and found it's cool factor.
But, thanks for the partial flashback with such a superb build! It's a beauty!
Thanks much Jim ! They're all pretty cool cars even the 4-doors . My Brother-In-Law had a Ranchero just like this one and until I drove it I was pretty much an El Caminos only guy but this opened my eyes .
