I have ordered today some pieces from the Shapeways 3D site.. they are all 1/24th scale.  Custom Ruckus Scooter by Kingtoy.  VW Bug Engine by Ron Rolson -3D Model Specialists.  Westphalia VW Bus/Van Roof Rack by Rail Road Tom. I'm advised that they will be ready to ship on 21st December. |

Well Paul, first class! from Shapeways, soft translucent plastic, as they are all in one piece the painting will be interesting. They all came in 3 days from Holland!

I don't know WHY I am getting this. Especially when I have a couple of "Bandito's" in waiting. This looks like something I would have built in 1966 or 1967. No paint. I'm hoping no chrome scraping as well. When it gets here I guess I'll find out. Ebay LINK $6.70!!

Thanks stevie. Now something completely new! I saw one of these on a WIP thread somewhere, so as my settings are only temporary with various pieces of white coated wood, I'll invest in one of these. A PULUZ Light Box.. ![]()  It has all of the electrics, LED lighting and 6 various coloured backgrounds. |

I'm fascinated by seeing more and more modified Hot Wheels diecasts. They seem tiny to me so how are they done? I'll have to look on YouTube to see if they are any on video. So whilst shopping at Tesco's this morning I spotted this Porsche 914 in Safari form.   At just £1.50 I'm also surprised to see them at this cheaper price. |
