That "Garage scene" bubbletop project looks like Dave Shuten's place in old Michigan (my home state). He recently restored the "Milk truck" too. Kool pics!!

Thanks for posting all of these pics, guys ... but I especially dug the in-progress shots! Cool seeing how these are actually constructed!
For instance, that chicken wire under-layer, under the fiberglass work on the custom body, gave me an idea or two for a future project ... more as a potential stiffener than on setting the shape; but it's an idea I wouldn't have had, if I hadn't seen those in-progress shots.
Thanks again!

That would be a great build project. Have you built this rustfather in 1/25?

I built this extended cabbed 5 seater 42 chevy pickup back in 02, it had a lift off hardtop, 38 olds front sheetmetal with a 36 chevy grille shell full of horizontally laid pig tusks going up it. It had canted quad 60 Lincoln lights, laid over 57 lancer fins for the bed and large bullet lights below them. It had a 60 dash. The plan was to run blackwall pie crust slicks on the rear in radiused fenders over the 15" x12" wide 5 spokes and bias plys on the 6" front ansens. Mill was an olds into a T400...and a ten bolt rear.
I ended up cutting it up, it was too wild for the times. But have incorporated most of it into my latest pickup based on a 41 ford sedan. Since wild stuff is still back in vogue.
I've built a few wild 1:1 scale show trucks.

I called it "Hermans Hauler". I've been a long time fan of the Munsters Tv show and that truck would've suited him to a t.
