I have shown that already a few times, my simple distributors. This is just a little excerpt of cables and wires that I collected for my models. They all come from old electrical and telephone lines. I want red ignition cable with black spark plugs. From the brass sleeve (cable shoe), the distributor. I put nine cable in the brass sleeve (cable shoe), and give at the rear end a drop of Super Glue. I drilled a larger hole in the engine And put the distributor in In the cylinder head, I also drilled holes And put the black cable pieces into it. Ok, Prior to this step, you have to make sure that the red into the black cables also fit ... I cut the red wire in the right length and put them in the black E VoilĂ : The new ones: The wire sleeve (a so-called cable-shoe) is made of aluminum, the colors indicate the size. Here, for example, the yellow is the smallest, the blue is the largest. The nine wires are inserted into the sleeve and glued from the bottom. Assembled, it looks like this.

Great tip Bobby! I sometimes use a piece of hollow Plastruct tube for a distributor if seeing the detail isn't too important - but these last couple of weeks I've also been playing with a design for one that can be printed too: https://www.instagram.com/p/BYgwU2yFG_g This one is for a 4 cylinder engine - I'm going to try an 8 cylinder version next! They only cost about 50 cents to print - super cheap, and ready to thread wires in and paint!

Well, that looks cool Hobbybobby.... I also have a lot of wires from old electronic thingies, so now I just have to find some of those cable shoes.... Kabdriver, if you plan on making some of those 8 cylinder distributers to sell, let me know
