My younger brother never understood the fascination with VW bugs, but, I loved this kit as a kid. It's coming out sometime next year, but I didn't know it at the time I was looking to rebuild my past.
I matched up an ebay Bugaboo body (the rest of the chassis parts were... lacking (but the re-release Stingaree kit chassis served the purpose)!
Of course, that meant no Bugaboo decals either, but they never enthused me, either.
So, some Photoshopping created the Bug Blast set, sunk under several polished out layers of laquer (and red acetate windows, as well as pointless brakelights!). Managed to salvage the body clip for tilt up version. Enjoy! (I'm going to buy more when it finally gets released)
