Great idea! Great build. I had the Mighty Mav as a kid; what a fantastic kit.
Love your photo with the Poison Pinto. Both cars were modest in production trim but looked decidedly aggressive when modified for the drag strip.

I always thought about building a 1/25th MM from the MPC MM kit. Beautiful build as usual Tory, well executed. I think maybe it was Chuck (aka Starry Eyes) who supplied the decals.

You are close Charlie .. I supplied some 75 files of finished (original sheets cleaned up with enhanced color) artwork to the hobby world years ago that went on to another decal re-popper who moved them even farther down the road .. I had scaled at set of these particular transfers down and placed them on the same disc but I'm not sure if these are the exact same ones.. I printed a set of the larger scale decals for myself but never got around to printing the smaller scale before letting them go .. but I do have a set now along with the kit that Tory used ... I must say it turned out fantastic Tory ! ...

Thanks again for all the compliments on my Mean Maverick folks! ;D And just to be clear, I did NOT print these decals, I had purchased them from Dave Van here on the board. So if anyone is interested in doing one of these, please contact Dave. Tory
