Mike sent me this pic the other day. He got the "Arctic Heating Element" lit up and working. I updated the Hannibal 8 page too. Check it out:

Mike, being familiar with scratch-building over the years, my hat is off to you for your outstanding effort in building Prof. Fates vehicle. I did see the movie ( several times ) and you have captured the car in every detail. I can appreciate the problems in researching for this project. The hours disappear and the un-initiated can't see them ,but, they are there. Again, congrats for a superior job in replicating an actual car.

I know this post is 14 years old, but I would LOVE to have that model of the Hannibal 8!...how can I get one?...it's a top 5 movie for me of all time..my Dad took me and a buddy to see it in 1965 at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood, and as a thank you, he gave me his built up model of Monogams 1/8 "Big Drag"!... oh how I wish I still had it....and as for the movie, how can you not love Jack Lemmon, Peter Faulk, Tony Curtis, Natalie Wood (ooh, Natalie), Vivian Vance (as the old battleaxe) and Larry Storch as Texas Jack!....😎
