I am in the market for a Doyusha Bond Aston Martin DB5 - unbuilt in the box.
If you have one you'd like to sell on to a good home and the price is right, I'd like to be the new owner.
I could go $60 and I'll pay the shipping of course.
I wanted to start my search here rather than on eBay. I'd rather my model money go to a member of our family here than a complete stranger on eBay.

and here's the answer I received from the seller Ellis - I asked if the $24.95 was correct shipping and he said:
The shipping depends on the item, and the size of the box and extra packing material I have to purchase to ship the item. This item does not take a standard size box from USPS, which I have to purchase on the outside. I know it seems kind of high, but by the time the usps fees, box, packing material, ebay nad paypal shipping fees, I lose a little money on this.

I see the bidding is over on the item anyway. The seller had NO bids on it at all.
Probably just as well at this time. I've had a Moebius Elvira Mistress of the Dark figure kit on pre-order forever at a lhs here in KC. Just about the same time I posted the Aston Martin request, the shop called and said it was in for payment and pickup. That was $30+tax. Choke!
Looks like James Bond (and Ellis Kendrick) will have to wait for awhile !
