In my very brief search fora true dead flat clear, all I've come up with so far is a satin clear. I need something that can be brushed on over enamel.
Anyone have a suggestion?
I've got a Hobby Lobby and Michaels nearby.

There is a flattener that used in automotive paint Dave .. I believe it's made by Dupont .. I don't have the part # but I have used it i the past on my 1:1's . you mix it to your liking and it IS flat .. just a thought ..

I have a quart of flattening agent around here somewhere, I'll have to find it and see if it works with any of the clears I have on hand.

You might want to look at the"JO SONJA'S" line of brush on surface finishing products. These polyurethane water based varnishes are available as Gloss, Satin and Matte. I have not used these varnishes personally, only their acrylic gouache tube paints. Bird carvers like these products...the search begins ? Cheers Eh!

Krylon makes a Matte clear that is flat. I've used the spray cans with good results. I don't know if it comes non aerosol but you can decan it.
