Despite some bad storms rolling thru this morning, I managed to get some paint on the Wild Child" chopper. OK, I'm in a "Roth" state of mind lately, so I decided to pay tribute not only to Roth, but to Indian Larry as well. Larry had a build of the same name, although not similar. I just finished reading Larrys biography, which is really interesting by the way! He was one hell of a guy.  I laid down the silver base and the Kandy Hot Pink yesterday...  This morning I added some Kandy Oriental Blue....   I'm thinking some Kandy Green for the final color, not sure yet. I wanted more of an odd mix of colors on this one...I'll probably be hand-painting some graphics on this before it gets a bath in some clear.....  |

I dunno, Tim... I think a deep violet down low would realy look sweet.

WOW! Nice paint Tim!!! Adding some Candy Green or Candy Yellow/Orange would be wild! Looking forward to seeing this one finished!

Well, I shot the final color, after the most undecided finish I've ever worked on! I decided on Kandy Tangerine, so I mixed it up, and sitting in the bottle next to the frame, it just didn't look right. Sooooo....I mixed up a bizarre Kandy Lime Green, and it looked aweful. (Sorry Fred!! LOL) I took out some Persimmon...Nope... Finally, Kandy Apple Red, looked right. The nice thing is overspraying the blue makes another shade of purple, and the pink a slight orangey red. It came out fine, and will get some clear with rainbow microflake. I wanted something bizarre and different, and I think this fits the ticket. (Although, you should see contest Project #1...LOL) I think I was wanting a miriad of colors like you'd find on an airbrushed t-shirt. I'm trying to decide wether to hand-paint in some Roth-style designs now. We will see....  |

that's looking sweet already Tim l can't wait to see it gone
looks like l have caught the bike bug as well l have started to build mine and am going old school l just finished making a extend front end and it's a girder and will be using a different motor
l have read that book ob Indian Larry and it's a great book on his life he is surely missed
