Pinkysil Putty Ive been using Pinkysil 2 part silicon that mixes in liquid form then sets like rubber for years and now they now have a silicon putty. This would be really easy to press onto a bonnet, cam cover, door panel and many other parts. Then mix up some resin and drip it into the mold. Couldn't be easier. This wont replace the liquid mix version for more complex molds and 2 part molds would be hard to do but it would do a great job for most part repo's. Check it out.

Smooth On version is called Po Yo putty, have used it successfully, quick and easy for a fast repop in an open mold configuration, or you can get more advanced by using a release agent and applying another layer to make a cavity you can pour into, have done this as well in a hurry but it gets tricky to seal the two halves together as they are irregular.

Cool stuff Scott . Alumilite Corp. makes a similar product that I've used .. pretty handy stuff for certain things !! Alumilite has 3 types of putty, Mold, Mold15, and Amazing. I know you told me the Amazing is junk, which of the other two are you using? Of the other two, is there a difference other than working time?
