Another kit I've never seen built, so I decided to build one. I don't think there is one in the Gallery. I have two MIB kits, one with perfect decals, the other bad. I'm holding on to the perfect one, built the other. Since the decals were bad on it, I thought about just leaving it in paint, no decals; but decals really accent the white paint, so I bought some decals that were close, though a little darker red and blue. Paint is Classic White. The top and body shell are separate, so they have to be blended together; I think that came out very well. Cool little kit.

I had one a few years ago and sent it to a surviving member of the group winners. I didn't want to offend him or over charge him, so I agreed to send it to him and he agreed to pay me what he felt was a fair price. Apparently that was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING as he never sent anything, not even to cover the postage. (This is why I warn people when making private deals) nonetheless. I just know this will be a welcomed addition into the guest gallery soon Great Job!

I'm not sure where Dave got the testimonial from "Dawn Guildner" but, here's a website for the group that won the convertible the-things-to-come.com/Home/Home.html kinda looks like a New Seekers (We'd like To Teach The World To Sing) knock off. I'm pretty sure it's Bob Christenson in the middle that *&*#% me. (It's the Capricorn in me that never lets anything "go")

A first for me also. Nice Job, looks great. If I had one I would have to put a straight axle under the front, nose high, and a blower or injectors poking through the hood. ;D

I have also never seen a built one, Dave, you did a fantastic job on this rare kit! ;D ;D I thank you very much that you did it, because I'm going to remove this kit from my wishlist , well, the boxart shows something much deeper, broader and richer, I expected something different from this kit...

That seems to be common with a lot of kits Bobby. The Swee Tee is one that excited me with the box but left me trying to figure out how to make the kit look like it. I can remember a hobby shop owner telling me about this problem from back in the day. Some mom would bring a kit back to return because their kid was disappointed that it didn't look like the box. Probably the demise of box art in the early 70s. I have also never seen a built one, Dave, you did a fantastic job on this rare kit! ;D ;D I thank you very much that you did it, because I'm going to remove this kit from my wishlist , well, the boxart shows something much deeper, broader and richer, I expected something different from this kit...

Like the other who have commented, I have never seen one built before. In fact, I've never seen one anywhere but the Listing here on Showrods. That is indeed a sharp build. I have to say that the car itself is fairly bland looking, at least to me. But, you sure have done the OOB, justice. Well done.
