AEROTREC is FINISHED!AeroTrec is an Anti-Gravity Racer, like the ones from the F-Zero and Wipeout 2097 Video Games. It is built from parts from two Oldsmobile Aerotechs. The Front End was Narrowed and Restyled. The Body was Sectioned and the flat underside was Rounded Off all the way around. The Rear End was Sectioned and Mirrored with a second Aerotech Rear End. Then the Rear was Shortened and Restyled . More Photos Coming...

This is such a great build along with the Pegasus. You may have created a new genre of modeling, "Space Rods" An incredible imagination and craftsmanship at work.

Ira, you are the definition of a master modeller! You think so far outside of the box, I feel like I'm still wrapped in celephane. Keep up the great work!!!

This is all wonderful, Ira, I like this very much... ;D ;D ;D ... but up to some small thing. This is just my honest opinion, I find that these little feets, disturb a little the wonderful lines... ... I personally would remove them, and present the model only in a flying mode on a base... ... and, hey my friend, a anti gravity racer needs no feet...

Ew I LIKE this one Ira! Buttery smooth with glassy paint! I do have to agree with Bobby, it realy doesn't need the feet. I use a LOT of clear (and colored) acrylic rod in my work with star ships and such. Some fine clear rod would give it that "levitating" affect. Have you maybe thought about that for future AG's? There is quite a bit of rod for sale on ebay, but you can also use "swizzle sticks" you might find at a booze store that are clear! Nice work at any rate....

LANDING GEAR?I thought I had finished the Aerotrec earlier this year but I kept thinking about a suggestion that Hobby Bobby made. Bobby thought I should remove the Landing Gear and display it flying. So I decided to remove the Landing Gear. I just broke them off and smoothed the area as best I could. Then I covered the area with a black vinyl sticker. All three areas were successfully covered with the stickers! Here is the Aerotrec mounted on piano wire! Look Bobby no Landing Gear! A Few More Coming...
