That 59 el camino was built by Gary Myers from wichita. He was a close friend of Elden Titus and he also built the Vampyre bubbletop

I don't know the history of this one either, but I did see it in person at the Darryl Starbird National Rod & Custom Hall of Fame Museum in Oklahoma back in 2007. And this is a beauty.

Wasn't that car Green Candy? Came out on Custom Rodder Cover in front of the Alamo ?? I'd have to make sure before I throw my ten cents.

I love this one, its a real beauty.... except.... I have to admit I really REALLY dont like the "closed" steering wheel that appears on one of the pictures, that would have to go if I bought it... Which I dont... unfortunately

Thankfully (looking at many of the photos) that steering wheel cover seems to be removable.

I've never seen the antenna treatment on the roof before. Gave me an idea for my own show truck build......Neat.
