One of the first kits that I bought for myself and still a favorite. Wish that original kit was still around. If, no WHEN I ever build another one, it will have a special paint job. Thanks for posting it AL. Hope to see the big finish.

Love to see how the "KOOL plans" work out. This one really is a fun kit - Not much detail, but the stuff that is there is just fantastic. Especially the "floating" headlights. Nice touch.
Now go finish the bike and trailer. They are as much fun as the car.

Just received an old builtup Cherry Bomb from an ebay seller. What would you expect to happen if you ship a built model cross country in an empty box with zero packing? That's right, total destruction! Who are these people? Luckily the kit box with original art and marked Monogram/Mattel as pictured above, survived just fine. Would that be the original issue of the kit? I must have about 10 CBs now including glue bombs and builders, more than any other kit, but I had not had an original art box since my first kit so long ago. Happy dance!

Clear bubbles vs original green tint makes a big difference. I'm partial to the original (still have mine from childhood) but clear looks nice.
Monogram kits are great builds. I like your straightforward approach.
