I thoroughly enjoyed the build. You do great work and you keep us intrigued with plenty of progress pics. We call the space plants sweetgum balls or gum balls. I'm glad you found a use for the darn things. They look like they are from outer space. Thanks Bert!So glad you enjoyed it. Yeah those Space Balls are Strange. I thought I might spray some green, apply glue and put green Imitation Foliage on. With a little work they might look like a Earth Bushes...

Ira, good to see you doing some fine work "outside your box"! I love all of the flying cars and racers you've done the last year or so, this is a step closer to my world! LOL!! Very creative. Thanks Tim!I've been building Robots, Flying Cars, Motorcycles, Trucks, Race Cars, Spaceships and Now a Diorama - San Francisco Verses The Flying Saucers! I am making my own Home-Made Lighting including a Laser Beam and Color Changing, Glowing & Flashing Lights in the Victorian and the Flying Saucer. Just Finishing up the last few details on San Francisco Verses The Flying Saucers for the 13th Anniversary of our Fantasy Modelers Club! I checked out your website, Great Builds Tim! Love your Flying Sub & Space Station and how you add lights, motors & Voodoo FX Stuff. I joined the Fantasy Modelers Club in San Francisco a while ago. Randy of Voo Doo Electronics is a member also, I hope to use his Newest Special Effects Board in a Future Project! Right Now, I am working on a Space Ship, another Flying Saucer, a Robot, a Deals Wheels Car, and an 8th scale Land Speeder! Thanks for the kind words Tim! Looking forward to seeing more of your builds...
