Knarf, we will have entry threads in April for finished entries. It's ok if you want to show yours now, but look for the threads later. I personally usually like to show progress shots and hold the finished photos until the end. That being said, your rig came out awesome.

Here is one more reason why I use very rarely, these tires from the kits... First, because they are in two parts... ... and secondly because they often look like this: And because I do not use them, they pile up... Fortunately, in this case, now I can choose the best for this project... ... and it's still boxstock, right? Well, to bond them, I do the following: Simply wash with soapy water, then I rub those surfaces to be bonded, with paint thinner... I use this glue for soft and hard PVC, and have had good experience...
Apply the glue on both sides, let them dry 3 minutes, press the two halves together, and it holds. After a bit of grinding, the result: Look, Chuck, here is the current state of the other parts, have allowed me to bring a little more color in...

Time to start the new year off by starting on my Roswell Rod . A few days ago I worked on cleaning the body up , washed it in Bleche White and sprayed a couple of coats of primer on it . Then I spent the better part of a day going thru kits looking for chrome parts to replace the resin ones in the kit . I also found the front suspension pieces and a 10 bolt rear end . The wheels and tires are from a Li'l Coffin , I'm still looking for some different rear tires . And the small block Chevy and headers are from a '69 Camaro kit . I'll cut the trans off and use the TH350 from the resin engine . Also a few more chrome goodies from a Parts Pak . Well , that's a start . . . time to get started on building a frame for this thing !

That from one of the Gangbusters kits? Thats what I remember the source of this looking like. Like yours, mine is sealed so I never looked this one over, cool to see it get built up.
Really nice detail job on this
Good night to stay in and do some model building, that cold is sweeping through here tomorrow
Stay warm!
