Just a quick note on my "Good Guys" Taxi project .. I'm moving right along but at a stage where I should wait to post photos once the deadline thread is created .. I'm doing body color, and as much interior detailing as I can with paint only to keep this a box stocker ... yep .. moving right along .

Well heres the box cover from my entry . I just got it started. Its going to be built box stock . The most trouble I see is going to be the two piece tire deal. I've tried six different glues, adhesives, etc. , and they all just roll right off after a little sanding.

Okay, I've been in a slump for a while (too many projects in the purple pond), but I decided to get off my duff, stop just lurking, and actually put something together. I'm starting with this WIP: The Sand Shark has been a disappointment of most of us, design-wise, but after staring at it awhile, I decided to give it a chance. It wasn't the front end that bugged me (tho not the cooler Dog Catcher style), it was the unusual roof line. I glued the body together, smoothed out the seams, and flattened out the roof line, to give it a flat-top C-cab look. With a primer coat and the basics built, it stands as this: I thought it would be a fitting entry into this contest. Now maybe I can get back in the swing of this forum.

It's a great design, no wonder and i like it, but that has our pal Dan Dankmeyer (dumpydan) already implemented in a similar Fashion... ... nevertheless, I am looking forward to your color choice and the end result!

Doesn't seem likely for me that I'll get a build going to match the criteria/deadline of this contest. Too much on the bench! But, looks like a lot of great builds will come out of it, I'll be watching!

Been working on the Roswell Rod and I've got the frame and suspension pieces finished and painted , also have a lot of parts shot with Alcad II . The resin body is cleaned and primed , and I started on the engine a few nights ago . I should be able to finish and have enough time to try and squeeze in another one !

I have never liked the Sand Shark until now. That simple mod changes the whole look, very cool!
Brandon, I thought you would go the other direction and make it an inline 12.
Glad to see folks building. I'm working on a couple, but I like to keep them under wraps 'til the contest.
