you mean you're looking for stock 57 chevy parts, like from a regular kit?

I put "bullets" on my 57 by taking some off of a junker 1/25 scale '57 and sanding them down untill they fit in the spaces. I didnt do a grille ,but due to the odd size of the Deal's car, I would probably look for a 1/32 scale 57 first . Maybe someone here has one they can measure the grille for you.

Hi there, there is an option.. you can get a 1/25 scale 57 chevy grille and some parts that goes with them... then if you know there is no use for them .... you take chrome off.. and scratch build them... perhaps cut them in half and shorten them, especially in center because you can take out the inner grille and keep the outside part. then once you set to the size you want, you can glue them together and add maybe a different grille.. ( or you can cut the grill out to save them and reapply back on and fix to fit right) you then can look for some emblems from maybe a 1/16 scale kits because the size could work well with the cartoon like car ... having it a little out of proportion like many cartoon does. once you get all the sanding done, you can then see if you can send them for rechroming, be sure you contact the provider what is possible use on the bumper so they can apply them on.. sometimes chrome don't stick well on paint you used. Then I think this would probably be the best bet you can do in order to make it unique. Maybe you can take a look at this PDF on kitbashing a deals wheels kit.. www.showrods.com/acrobat_articles/new_deal.pdfJust a thought... I have one myself and have been planning to do them but its not the time as I am doing other model kits and moving on to its turn Hope this helps.
