This was built by a friend from Auckland , New Zealand named Paul Scadden . He was very concerned it would draw some criticism because of his choice for wheels and tires . So far that hasn't happened and I think it looks pretty cool , kind of a Gangster Show Rod ! I've got his permission to post the photos here and I'm hoping it will get a good response and I can convince him to join the forum !

Hey there, this is a nice version of Lil Coffin... hey.. there are no limits about what to do on the car, you bought your kit and you decide what you like on it. these wheels does suit them very well and gives a different character of the model car. I do like it very much and you are not only one doing this different version. Every one does and even modify and change parts around the body to their own satisfaction. These are their passions. I support that entirely because I do that myself Come and join! I did my version of this in blue color and thought you might want take a peep on this one I built a couple of years ago.

Great choice of wheels. Gives the car a more modern look. Nice paint, too.

Well, Paul, you have not only built very well one of the famous show rods, you also change the Kolor! I for my taste, would not take this color for my builds, I mean, Tamiya Metallic Forest Green is a bit "venturesome", on the other hand it looks good on it... I love the Pegasus DZ's wheels and these tires, I see nothing wrong, on the contrary, they are perfect for this build!
