Welcome to Insani-T I took the cab from an an Infini-T dragster, mated it to the nose of a RC Cola Wagon, a turtle deck from the parts box and the grille from a Silhouette were used to start the shape of the back ( the rest of the back end was scratchbuilt. The frame, suspension, and interior are all scratchbuilt (minus the steering wheel and shifter). The engine is from an AMT Corvair with scratchbuilt engine cover, supercharger, intake, fuel regulator, coil, pulleys, belt and part of the exhaust (the tips are from the Barris T Buggy). Other scratchbuilt parts include the headlights, fuel cell, fuel pump, air compressor, and the air tank. Taillights are from the Barris T buggy. The rear wheels are aftermarket diecasts with the centers removed and replaced with the whole wheel from a Deora, disc brakes are pegasus, front wheels are from the Outlaw kit. The paint is nail polish over a white lacquer base. Oops, thee wind caught the roof and lifted it up in this pic, it does fit properly. I left it unattached to show the interior. The reason the deck doesn't match the base better is so it can open without hitting.

Dog CatcherWell, on this one I am proud, because it started shortly after I've been working on another build, which I had broken through engagement... coffincorner.proboards.com/thread/18869/pie-wagon-bash-update-marchPride, because I built it in a very short time ... The idea was for some time in my head, but only now did I realize how quickly they can be realized... ... if all operations are clear and all parts available I have taken this unopened Tom Daniels Paddy Wagon kit... ... all additional parts are self-made, or out of my parts boxes. Hope, you like it.

The Monkees Mobile
The idea for this build, originally came from the old master, Ed "NEWT" Newton. When Universal Chose the wild Tom Daniel-designed, Barris-sponsored and by Dick Dean`s gang-built The Munster Koach instead, Big Daddy Roth learned, that "low Budget and mild" was apparently not the way to score a TV car contract... So, although they didn`t know it at the time, Tom and Newt were apparently competing against each other for that Munster Coach contract, trough Barris and Roth... Later, when submitting a design for the upcomming Monkees TV series, he let Newt go all out on the concept. But alas... ... that Time they went fot Jeffries`less-expensive "GTO Touring"... So, Jeffries`relatively austere Monkeemobile concept was approved for The Monkees Television Show, he beat out this home run attempt by Newt and BDR... And, uh, oh, yes, much later, California Show Cars by Jay Ohrberg, built something similar, based on Newt's design, and called it GeeTar...
... which, in my view, doubled the size while halving the Finesse... This is my Version, perhaps not quite as Newt thought it... ... but I have tried to implement it, as far as it went, and with a couple of my Solutions... No idea what I have installed everything here, because it was one of my many, long-term Projects... coffincorner.proboards.com/thread/13075/monkees-mobile-barris-update-july... but finally it's done, hope, you like it.

A DW Never Was: the Crab Daddy! A modified Glitter Bug, taken in the direction of the Sand Crab. The body was modified with sheet styrene for the side panels and spoiler, and styrene goop was used for filling and shaping the front end. Rear wheels from a 4WD toy (fronts, hubs and lights from the parts bin), and pen bits for the twin exhausts. The windshield was chopped and got some clear green tinting. Painted Sublime Green (as close as I could get locally to Sand Crab green) with Zinger and VW decals under clear coat. The base is Sculpy with sand, etc.
