As usual: Comments for the Contest go here to keep the Entry Thread clean and organized. PLEASE be kind to your fellow showrodders. Negativity is not condoned. Everyone has worked very hard on their builds... This is a celebration, not a critique. If you choose to make "suggestions" on what YOU might have done, please do your best to present it in an encouraging manner. This can be a touchy area for some when creativity is involved, so let's keep that in mind, and have some fun!

Bob, You took my least favorite DW and made into one of my favorites. The hat and veil are icing on the cake and a great idea, it really ties the car to the movie. I bet doing all that pinstriping was fun, and using metallic gold must have made it even more fun.
What are the wheels/tires from?

Thanks man ! The gold pinstriping was interesting to say the least . I thought I ruined it when I shot the clear but was determined not to have to repaint it , luckily I was able to fix it ! The wheels and tires are from Detroit Diecast ( the same as on your Insani - T ? ) . I put the blue line on the inside and made my own lettering decals , and I found some resin snowflakes to replace the centers with . And your Insani - T is FANTASTIC ! I knew it would be but it's even more than I expected . . . beautiful paint and great fab work on everything ! It looks like you widened the tires , I'll have to try that sometime .

Bob, your take on the Tirebird is nothing short of genius! Like Mysterion, I love the little touches that really tie it in to the movie! And your model work is superb!
And Mysterion, that Insani-T is off the charts cool! Great concept and execution. Love the design and paint work. Just a top notch effort all around!
You guys just made my morning!

Thanks for the comments guys. It felt great to finally finish something, it's been a long time since I did so.
Yup, Detroit Diecast. The tires have not been widened, that's how they came.

Brandon, quite an imagination there buddy. Is the dune buggy a kit or did you make it?
Mike, What does D2ND stand for? Other than A vehicle I wouldn't want to come across in a dark alley!
The Eskimo Pie Wagon, as I've said before, it's the first tracked car I ever really liked. The little touches as the dual stick steering are perfect. Very Nice.

I left my buddy Dave out of the comments, sorry brother.
You my friend have a great imagination and once again I see one of your ideas and say to myself "Why didn't I think of that?" The bubbletop Street Fighter is just too cool of an idea. The color is perfect and I'm glad to see you've really got the hang of using your airbrush. BTW, it looks like a 53 grille, not a 55.
The Lil' Coffin is a hard kit to come up with a "Let's hack this puppy up!" idea, but you came up with a great one. The pickup works nicely.

Yes, 'D2ND' does mean something, let's see if anyone can guess what it is before I say anything.... Nice job on all the builds, so far, let's hope we see some more before the entry window closes.

I see it as you "un-cartooned" or "De-tooned" it from a DW to a real world version! D2ND, De-tooned it is! I was thinking it was a military designation! I never thought to read it like a personalized license plate. That is a good one!

Bobby, You never fail to "Bring it to the table". The caged in area of the back really changes the whole look of this kit. Nice job.

Great builds here.
tooold - Great Bandit. The paint is perfect and I like the wedding dress and hat touch.
Mysterion - The Insani-T is so creative. It has a really nice flow and super scratch building. I love the rear tires and wheels. Great work my friend.
Brandon - The Cherry Picker is a cool combo of kits and of course your trademark engines add the final touch. The dune buggy is just perfect. The Red Baron II - I love this idea of making the Baron look stretched. I like the dual scoops too.
Myturk - Perfect combo of dune buggy and tank turret, great idea. Eskimo Pie wagon - The Pie Wagon is one of my favorite models! It is so versatile. You really nailed it with the skis and tank treads.
minimagneto - Fiddler truck is beautiful. The double bass theme is cool and I love the shifter.
HobbyBobby - You never cease to amaze me with your builds. Great idea and as usual I love your rear tires and wheels.....killer!
