Big Bottom!I was having a "Space" Problem with the Saucer Bottom from the Alpha Centari Saucer. Just not Big enough. So I'm switching to this Bigger part from the old MPC "Time Machine" Model. Thanks for those old MPC parts Scott! Here is the New Big Bottom set in place on the underside of the Martian Saucer. Here is the New Bottom with all of the Holes drilled out. I also drilled a Hole in the Center for the Green Ray. Next, I am going to use 4 Legs from the Alpha Centari Saucer Kit on the Martian Saucer. More Coming...

Hot Rod Shop!I sprayed the top of the Saucer with Testors Glosscote and let it dry. Then I applied the "Hot Rod Shop" Decals by Slixx. I also added the "Isky Cams" Decal from Fremont Racing Decals. Unfortunately the TSDS "Alpha Centari" Decals were defective, couldn't use any of them. Next I painted some Brass details on the top of the Saucer. Then I sprayed the parts with Testors Dullcote. More Coming...

Black Wash!I thinned "The Detailer", Black with about 30% Water and brushed it over the Saucer. Then I let it dry overnight and gently wiped the Saucer off with a damp paper towel removing the Wash from the High Spots & leaving it the Low Spots. I'm going to do a little more Wiping in the Tight areas with a damp Q-Tip and then I will spray on a couple coats of Testors Dullcote. More Coming...

I applied a black wash and then sprayed the Wheels with Dullcote. I cut 1/16" from the bottom of the Body and then Primed it. Here is the Bug in Model Masters "Grabber Orange". More Coming...

We Have Lights!I finally figured out how to do the Lights! There will be Seven Color Changing Lights and 2 Bright White Lights in the Top of the Saucer, there is One Color Changing Light for the Interior and there are Two Green Death Ray Lights in the Underside. Underside and Interior Photos coming later... I started by wiring the Lights and then I glued them to plastic brackets I made from plastic. Next I glued all of the Lights in place and added a 9 Volt Battery & Switch. I grouped the Positive Wires together an soldered them. Did the same with the Negative Wires. Then I slipped some Diffraction Film between the Lights and the Windows and taped it in place. Light Test! More Coming...
