I finally got to use all of those gold parts I had kicking around. The Barris Bathtub Buggy was a gluebomb built up, that was mostly complete. I never really liked the clunkiness of it. There was just too much stuff. So I pared it down to a T-bucket. I chose to leave the sink and tub as-painted. They have the original decals, and sometimes I like the soul of rescuing a gluebomb. It had it's own charm. I added the frame of the Fiat in the AMT Double Dragster and some Paddy Wagon wheels. I made my own injection topper and headlight stands. The flocked chassis was my second attempt. I stripped it down once already. I think the water-based acrylic paint I used was a little thinner than I needed, and it pulled away from the edges and wasn't thick enough in some spots. I might try and fill it in on the rails, but for now it lives as-is. The tiller steering is from the Bed Buggy, and I used the seat cushion for a seat back in the tub. Overall I dig it, it was a fun one to do... and I am free of all the gold parts.
