This is a really cool concept, I don't think I've seen that combination of front/back before with the body. It's hard to do something fresh with a VW, I feel like

......I don't think I've seen that combination of front/back before with the body. It's hard to do something fresh with a VW, I feel like This body was done from scrap parts. Howevere there's a quite similar body done in resin by some guy in UK I believe. Might be found on Ebay...

I LOVE progress pics! Too awesome man! Nice work on mating the two of them, great job! Thanks for sharing! Thanks! But that's actually FOUR different bodies that donated parts for the body alone. Front section from a sedan, middle part (doors and window-frame) from a convertible, rear section from a panelvan + a lot of plastic-card and finally, the roof, from another Panelvan. But in all, I think 8-10 different VW's gave up some parts for this build!
