That looks GREAT so far!!! The jig is a great idea, I've been wondering about a good way to consistently bend tube like this - that's brilliant!

Ohhhhh, cool idea! Where did the engine come from? I've got a resin one of those, but I'm not sure where it came from

Nice scratchbuilding Paul! I don't really know what you're building, haha - is it a replica of something existing, or an original creation?

Got the wing finalized and mounted with brass pins so it is removable. On the 1 to 1 it is only for additional weight one the rear and not any aero use. Cab is just set on with out and real thing to locate it just to get the overall idea on the look. Hobbybobby the paint is going to be a bit if a trip. I am leaning toward using One Shot Sign Painters Enamel. It dries hard and is spray able cut with Acetone. I went to the Artists and Craftsman Supply to scope out the colors and I figure a pint of Pink Metallic, a pint of Black, a pint of White and a pint of Light Grey will allow me to mix and tint the 4 different hues. Did some work on the rear fenders. Still quite a bit more to do though. The grey is Gunzi liquid putty, second time I'm using it. Seems to work well. Thicker than primer and thinner than putty in the tube. Hosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki

Nice work Paul. I don't remember who drove this one. Did Tyrone Malone pilot this wheelstander? This and the Super Boss/Bandage Bandit are favorites from my childhood. I look forward to this build.

No Tyrone didn't regularly drive it. He had one of his team drive this and the Smokey Bear Corvette.
