this is my mustang stash. I really like the car because I had one before I sold it.It was a 1966 coupe ,modified , a sweet 289 that did 0 to 60 in 5.5 sec
not strictly a model, I had to show my real one

I like Mustangs too........my 66 2+2 I just finished a resto on. Create 302, toploader 4 sp, American Daisy wheels, avalanche gray paint.

Michael's has one of the old Revell Mustang kits for ten bucks and change - I've been meaning to pick one up when I'm there next

Has anyone ever actually seen the Barris Mustang kit? Or built one?

Built one when they were first issued. Nice except for the stick on wood and velour that came with it and lack of painting skills. To do the pair you need two kits. I do have a pair I bought years ago at the NNL which I am going to build over the winter, right now I just started an original Deora kit.

I remember my older brother building the Cher version way back when. Used up a lot of nail polish from our mom's beauty parlor.

I have a mint Sonny & Cher kit. Gary Schmidt of SAE gave it as a door prize many years ago at Toledo NNL.....
