AMT Cyclone Funny Car

After selling one of these original kits 5-6 years ago and regretting it I started searching and found this one earlier this year . It's built right out of the box including the plastic tires , I only added a MAD distributor and some decals .

This was a purely nostalgic build and brought back memories of building this kit so many years ago . There's something about building 50 year old plastic . . . lots of fun !



Here's the starting point . I bought the Dyno Don decals on ebay before I built the Eliminator II so I didn't use them on this one .



Paint is Model Master Hugger Orange and the glass was tinted with Tamiya Clear Orange .

Super clean Bob! What a great looking build - you can almost imagine it firing up and hitting the strip!

Love the tinted windows, and those decals look great on there!

Well, brother Bob, I do not know what else there could be for this little nice kit, than to build it right out of the box...

And what can I say, you got out of this the absolute maximum and your additional details make it top, brilliant job!

Thanks Boban ! There's actually soooo much wrong about these kits you either redo everything or build it out of the box . . . I think they look good like that .
