I believe it was cancelled, it was stated there wasn't enough interest.

Anyone ever see that American Hot Rod where Boyd did a wheelbarrow too? š. He put a little billet rim on it and flamed it and it had a leather interior or something (!!?) š

I remember "getting into it" with the Hobby Heaven owner about 10 years ago. I said I wanted the Manx to be reissued and he told me it would never sell. And he would know because he "knows". Thankfully, the Manx was reissued despite his ignorant demeanor.

I still have 4 or 5 of the reissued Manx buggies, great kit with tons of possibilities. I still hope the Farmer is reissued before I'm to old to build it.

I have a 1:1 non-Manx in my garage I need too get back to jus' sayin' We had a genuine Meyers Manx, came home from vacation and it and a half complete Baja Bug conversion were gone. Nothing else.

45 years ago I'd never recognize it, unless the Corvair engine conversion was still in it. Only than because it was a Corvan engine and they have a different set of cases.
