"Two Of A Kind" Fuel Altereds

Built side by side at the same time on my bench , every time I sat down to do something I did it twice ! Interesting that while I did spend more time daily working on them I actually finished them in the same six weeks it would have taken to build just one .


Both are AMT Bantam Blast kits with resin bodies from Freemont Racing . The only other non-kit parts are the scoops , 18" 12-spoke fronts (with Revell tires) , and 16" Torque Thrusts on the '32 , all from Speed City Resin . Also Vertex Magnetos from M.A.D. and I made my own headers for both .

Obviously one driver is taller than the other! Nice job on those hairy beasts. Never seen one run in person but they look pretty squirrely in the videos I've seen.

Thanks much Boban ! I was actually able to do a little bit almost every day which is very unusual for me .

Every M.A.D. distributor comes with material to make those spark plug boots . It's very small diameter very thin wall wire insulation and fits perfectly on the spark plug wires .

That's the one , been buying those for years ! Can't beat the price and service is excellent . At those prices why bother drilling and wiring your own .
