This is the first I recall ever building stock. I only added the plug wires and coil packs, the rest is just painted details. Paint is early 1970's Mopar Citronella Yella with Tamiya Yellow Pearl overcoat. Alclad Sepia to give the chrome pipes form the head a hot look. This is the new reissue. I have the Milk Trike and the Mail Box I'm doing to match the box tops. Nice break from normal things. Paul

Really nice looking. The addition of the plug wires really makes this pop!

Sweet build. Isn't this a showrod? I was told it could or could not be considered a Show Rod.

Sweet build. Isn't this a showrod? I was told it could or could not be considered a Show Rod. I'm sure it is in some venues, just as a heavily customized '56 Ford Victoria would be, but elsewhere. 20 years ago when Dave first set up the showrods.com website, he specifically omitted cycles. I don't know what the reason was, and I have no intention of asking "why" Dave keeps this place up and running totally out of his pocket. I imagine he logs in about once a month, maybe twice, just to make sure Brandon and I are keeping the place clean and on topic. ANYTHING can be posted in any of the 4 sub categories. The completed showrods cat only somewhat follows the "List of 275" (soon to be 278) rules.
So, although I really love the look of this, I cannot add it to the permanent Guest Gallery. I like my job around here and I don't want to start coloring outside the lines because read the previous paragraph. Like I said. Some have submitted to me what they felt should be added to the list of 275 and I, in turn, have petitioned Dave and he has allowed me to expand the original list, established in 2001.
Remember, The Coffin Corner is a hang out of SHOWRODS.COM aka Dave's Showrod Rally.

Looks great!!!
I think it's the Tiki trike though (Originally the "Digger Trike").
Taco trike is the cheese wedge looking trike (or a reissue of the "Wedge Chopper").
Sorry dude. I know my trike kits!
