Fellow Modelers, I read through all the posts on posting pictures pinned to the top of the thread list. I made a few posts trying to get some pictures to show but to no avail. The last post before mine was over 2 years old. Not sure if any one monitors this thread to see my previous question. It appears that photo bucket will no longer allow you to post pictures using their site as a "host". I think this means you can place a link but then the reader has to click the link and be redirected to their site instead of seeing the pictures in the actual thread. You can upgrade to a premium, non free version for a monthly fee. All the posts in the "posting pictures" thread seem to indicate that the service is free. Has this changed? Am I doing something wrong? Does everyone else that posts photos use photo bucket or are some using other means. I tried using "Box" but the same thing occurs using there site, the link is there but you get re-directed when clicking on it.
Thanks for any help,
mike

I dumped Photobucket when they stabbed everyone in the back with their fees. I downloaded all my pictures from them to my computer, and loaded them on IMGUR , which I've been using for several years now. Its free , and you can post pictures here or any other site with no problems.

Thanks for the suggestions. Tried Fotki. They apparently require a monthly subscription as well. Tried Imgur and had success. Finally. FREE! Here is how you do it for those that need to know. Upload your photos. Click on your photo, click on the 3 dots, click on "Get share links", copy the BBCode for forums to imbed photo to thread.

Yeah Fotki hits you for $20 a year for pic and videos. I went to them when P.B. went on their extortion binge and needed to do it asap before I lost over 5000 photos.
