It's been on the shelf for a while, the near local hobby store closed at least ten years ago. Without decals.. And with decals.. The typical Tamiya decals were still perfect!

Other F1 teams built but did not race their cars, having the four wheels at the back suffered serious transmission maladies. Williams And March..

The P34 kit was the first 1/20th scale model I built. I really liked the design of it back when I was in my teens.

Yes Steve, nice kits. I had two of the larger F1 kits, The Team Lotus 47 and the Renault Turbo. Being a marshal at Silverstone in the day, when they ran the Renault there the first time the body work was so close to the turbo/exhaust hot bits, it caught fire on the second or third lap if I remember rightly, and we had to put it out pretty quickly! I think the problems that the other teams also had was the fact that you are pushing the car along with four tyres on the ground and the steering only has two wheels so steering was difficult!

The F1 cars of that time period were the best , it was actually fun watching the races ! Love your build Pat , wish I had a few of them .
