For those who live in this area, contact me for a list of built models I am selling.
I have tried shipping and regardless of how well I pack a built model, the postal system finds a way to damage it, in some cases beyond repair. The insurance may pay for it but a destroyed model is no good to anyone I used to ship about 15 years ago when I sold on evilbay but the last few years, stuff just doesn't seem to make it. I guess this area's post office has lots of football players
Thanks...

As a follow up: I have had people drive as far as 300 miles to pick up a kit rather than take a chance with the post office. Maybe in the U.S., you get better, safer service but not here. I am tired of making insurance claims, having to justify the dollar figure, supply pictures, then wait a month or three to get paid.

Since you live in very big city, Toronto, there must be hobby clubs and therefore contests. Get a table like other vendors who sell unbuilt kits and supplies and test the waters. Just sayin'.

I still regularly buy from eBay (fortunately not nice built models that I hope to display), and whether a built model for parts/restoration or an unbuilt kit, the packaging has really gone downhill in the last few years.

I recently purchased an item from a guy in Toronto.. it was well packed in a plastic container inside a heavy box .. when it arrived it was broken in 4 pieces .. I carefully removed all the packing and the parts and super glued what I found back together .. we are sure Customs opened it because although it was broken all the broken parts weren’t in the box !
