Hi All, I wanted to share an update on my dad's collection. I ended up connecting with Dave shortly after my dad passed. We had a great conversation and dave shared stories of my dad that meant the world to me. A number of you reached out to inquire about dad's collection. My mom found a buyer within the family who offered a very very good offer that my mom accepted. I did hold onto a handful of built that have special meaning to me, and are beautiful works of art. I know my father would be happy that his passion was able to provide a healthy safety net for my mom. And hiscollection going to a good home as well.
Please know your comments above have meant the world to me. Father and sons always have complex relationships and getting to see his impact had me smiling and sobbing.
Signing off Paul's son

I am at a loss learning about what has happened. I have been in and out of the site on occasions and did not read through the messages until today. My condolences to Paul's family. My fellow clowns I apologize for not knowing until today.

I apologize for using my father's account. My name is Jason, his son. He and I used to build engines, cars, and also models when I was much younger. I am helping my mother handle estate issues and my father has a rather large collection of unboxed models. I haven't gone through everything yet but it’s in the 2-400 range. If anyone would be interested in purchasing the lot or a significant portion please contact me directly. jason.canney@yahoo.com Very sorry… Best to you and your family.
